One important activity of the CMCRF is to support publishing high-standard works on Chinese muslims, including original research on Chinese muslims as well as Chinese translation of important works on Islam. Such works will provide a strong inspiration for further development of Islamic research in China as well as a good means through which Chinese muslims clarify many of the misunderstandings about them within China and abroad. CMCRF is constructing a special scholarly committee in charge of evaluating and deciding on the books to be supported. So far, CMCRF intends to help publishing the following works:
Sahih Bukhari (9 volumes), Chinese translation from Arabic by Ibrahim Youxi Kang.
